I usually sit around when I create with a TV on, talk to the dogs, play online, but I was COMPLETELY focused on this with no noise except me talking to myself and I had this wonderful feeling of knowing this would work. It was awesome!-Lp'S Jewelry-https://www.blogger.com/profile/11371750940427407373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109691976168523993.post-34068309565842822772012-03-08T18:55:41.831-08:002012-03-08T18:55:41.831-08:00This was really SO simple! I did rinse them all to remove excess dye so they wouldn't bleed on anyone if they got wet but it didn't effect the speckles. I think I can make it work. And I WONDERED if that's why you had wraps on your metals. I thought it was just something you did for texture!! I really did enjoy this though and I can't WAIT to do more.-Lp'S Jewelry-https://www.blogger.com/profile/11371750940427407373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109691976168523993.post-34755439163856684032012-03-08T17:40:39.596-08:002012-03-08T17:40:39.596-08:00oh, those "scraps" are absolutely gorgeo...oh, those "scraps" are absolutely gorgeous! (and i wonder if the speckles might look kind of cool if you rinsed them a little? maybe speckles could be your thing!) you could dye any kind of fabric! you achieved some really beautiful watercolor looks on those scraps (and your bracelet is gorgeous). (i do the wrapped ring thing too b/c i haven't started fusing or soldering yet--i want to be able to use them with beading wire but it slips right through the join if you don't cover it up somehow. i like to make oval rings by tapping them with a hammer--works really slick! i think Shannon LeVart mentioned this once too.) i love trying to figure out how to do things myself too, so i totally identify with you!lunedreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12194017326383981105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109691976168523993.post-84165189403688700682012-03-08T17:26:01.458-08:002012-03-08T17:26:01.458-08:00This is totally cool!
