So I received this wonderful soup a while ago but was busy preparing for a craft show and hadn't gotten around to posting this awesome set yet. Without further adieu I give you... MY BEAD SOUP!! Click on the images to enlarge them for a bigger and better detailed view of the pictures.
My AWESOME soup arrived in this AWESOME basket with some AWESOME stuff!! First off, there was candy... not just candy.. but chocolate!! I'm not much of a chocolate fan, but I was THAT day!! What a thoughtful addition to the soup. And the basket? The eggs? How stinking clever was she? Oh that's right!! My partner.. Kathy Stemke of Vintage Memory Jewelry Designs. This was her first bead soup and she is a newbie to jewelry. I think for being new to the jewelry area she did a GREAT job!
Her soup contained some wonderful pieces and things I had not seen before. There were glass pearls, beautiful toggle clasps, HUGE pink chunks of magnesite, GORGEOUS pieces of pink fire agate, green fire agate, and carved pink jade. On top of all that there were some vintage brass chains, some nifty little wire wrapped glass beads, ceramic, and metal beads.. and the Flamingo... you HAVE to SEE the flamingo..I think it is on agate or jasper... LOVE IT!!! And how about the black lip pearl pendant... it is sooo beautiful!!
I am just over the moon with everything she sent. The gumball machine, chocolate bunnies, and Reese's carrot was adorable and just really put the topping on the soup!! I can't wait to start creating then Pin and Post my creations. I'm in the middle of packing to move but am looking forward to playing with my soup as soon as possible. Kathy really did a great job and I am so blessed to have had her as my partner. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for her own soup goodies. You can see what I sent her over on her BLOG.
This is the second bead soup I've been a part of but certainly not my first bead swap. I really enjoy swapping with such generous, talented, and genuinely good people. Can't wait for the reveals!!
